Under Siege
normal service resumed
OK – maybe not. But must not be so glum. Spoke with George yesterday on the phone – it seems like an eternity since she left on Sunday (it had been three days…) – and it was great to hear her voice. Our conversation was … well … normal (as normal as it could be), but nice.
What am I trying to say?
I don’t know – just that we are keeping in touch. She is alive. I am alive. There could be worse things in the world. Like most fairy tales, I am sure that there will be a happy ending…

Getting into the Olympic spirit, the football (soccer) begain in Melbourne yesterday, with the Olyroos (that would be the Australian mens Olympic football team, then) played gallantly agains the Italians, but lost 1-0. Site changes!
Yep, just over to the left, you can activate the Message Form, or try and send me a message over AOL IM or ICQ. I rarely have them open, but if demand demands it, well…
And I have revamped the Diary Archives – clicking on the link at the top of the page will take you into September’s archive page, with all preceding months linked, month by month. Just to make it quicker to load, and easier to find stuff too.
And a ‘days old’ counter. (Not had much work to do, James?)
