Tuesday in Toronto, and a
Tuesday in Toronto, and a chance to sleep-in. For some reason, when we returned from Yuk Yuks, we decided to watch Galaxy Quest, which I would give ‘one thumb up’. Lynne also had to complete her last school assignment, so we made definite plans not to do anything for most of the day.
Before we were to go to a basketball game in the city, we headed into Scarborough Town Center to have a look at some shops. I think that the only reason we went there was so that Lynne could convince me that the whole of Scarborough was not like the Morningside Mall (which we had visited on the way to Niagra). Thankfully, it wasn’t.
Our evening entertainment was a trip to the new Air Canada Center to watch an NBA game – the Toronto Raptors vs. the Indiana Pacers. Our cheap tickets were in the ‘Sprite Zone’ – with added ‘entertainment’ in the form of two crazy kids with a megaphone. We made our own entertainment by contorting the free balloons they handed out into animals which we then proceeded to mate. I love being mature, me!
Oh yeah, the Raptors won, in a fairly exciting game…
