The first ‘friends-round-for-dinner’ experience went off really well last night, when Matt and Katie came over to the new place for dinner. George did the cooking (vegetarian lasagne) which, considering it had no meat in it, was gorgeous, and the only downside to the evening was that I had to run around like a madman looking for vegetarian mince. Three supermarkets and five unhelpful shop assistants later I emerged, triumphant.
