Long, lazy weekends….

A lovely weekend was spent down in St. Merryn, Cornwall (near Padstow, which is near Newquay ‘ish) – trying to get some surfing lessons done for Paul’s birthday. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit poor, and there wasn’t much surf..

We did get to camp at the most ‘Phoenix Nights’ campsite in the world ever though, and the weekend happily coincided with the St. Merryn festival, with line dancing (on the petrol station forecourt) and parade with prize for ‘Best Turned Out Tractor’.

Nice how some things just work out, eh?
