Big Bother

RESPECT – The Unity Coalition – News
“I will talk about racism, bigotry, poverty, the plight of Tower Hamlets, the poorest place in England sandwiched between the twin towers of wealth and privilege in Canary Wharf and the spires of the City. I will talk about war and peace, about Bush and Blair, about the need for a world based on respect. Some of it will get through.”

I have so much to write about – my christmas break, lots of new toys, New Years Eve, a new job and lots of visiting time with Jack.

But.

Watching Big Brother makes me think that George Galloway has made a monumental cock-up in deciding that being on Big Brother would further his cause. This evening’s episode involved childish petty arguing and, although everyone is like that deep down, we surely expect our politicians to be above that. I must admit to watching Galloway doing his thing in the US, tearing into their politicians, and enjoying it. He certainly has a way with words, but seeing him on BB surely wasting his opportunity to “further his cause” by instead joining in stupid arguments about stupid things – and all because his pride was pricked – makes me wonder.

It can’t, surely won’t, be good for him when he comes out…?

Surely?
