Time for a career change?

Yup, that was me, finally participating in my 30th birthday present from Matt, Neil and Jonathan. Rally driving in North Yorkshire turned out to be great fun, with three actual driving sessions, some handbrake slides (and a couple of spins) and a wicked forest section. Unfortunately the fourth drive of the day is with the instructor - then you really see how it should have been done.

But still, I reckon I did OK, and it certainly made the drive back down the motorway more interesting!

That evening, we got to see Lionel Richie at Wembley Arena - an excitingly cheesy concert, marred only by the over-the-top American entertaining style, “This is the best night of my life, London, England!” Was it really, though, Lionel? But still, the tunes were great, the singing and band amazing with some pretty good staging too.

You can’t beat the old classics!
