Robert & Lisa

The final wedding of the three in October was that of my brother, Robert to his long-suffering girlfriend Lisa, down in Portsmouth where they met.

This was another lovely occasion, very different to Neil’s because we were surrounded by so much close family which is an all-too-rare pleasure, and we got to spend a couple of nights in a really nice hotel! Portsmouth is also pretty close to home (just an hour and a half), so we didn’t have to drive too far.

We celebrated Bob’s last few hours on the pitch-and-putt course down by the seafront, which I am sure I won (beating Robert, Martin and Dean), and then I could relax - no speeches to make, no outfits to choose, just a chance to enjoy the day and watch Robert get married, which he did in style.
