Slowly assimilating now, although I am doing well by not watching any of the multitude of crappy soaps that litter U.K. television.

The biggest news, however, was that George was persuaded to come down to visit. Yes, we will gloss over the fact that she had to be persuaded, and just say that I had a wonderful couple of days. She got to see a football game and I got to see her, after what seemed an eternity.

Seems like a good deal to me.
