Creating Passionate Users: Subvert from Within: a user-focused employee guide
Reading this article made me want to bang my head against the wall, and write this article to make me remember that this is exactly what I need to start doing at work. The project I work on seems to have lost the focus on what the users want fixating on what the system can do. As my teammate says – we are there to provide a service to the users, not dictate what they should be doing and how they should be doing it.
The author points the way – although closes with the information that following the path might not be the best career choice. Anyway, one to read and re-read when I need to remember what is important…
