Hugh?
Ohmigod.
It’s nearly my birthday. Time goes too quickly. Still.
A short working week this time, after having Monday and Tuesday with Georgina on a quick tour of Philip Island, Wilsons Promontory and the Mornington Peninsula.
As you can probably tell, I have become pretty smitten with Georgina and so it was nice to have a couple of days alone, with no distractions, so at least I feel like I made the most of the short time that I have been with her.
I really am going to miss her. Tried to make it not be like that. Failed.
Maybe I got to know her too well – note following conversation in car:
Where do we have to turn off to get to Wilsons Prom, George?
Turn off when we get to a place called Hugh.
Hugh? That’s a wierd one, sounds Welsh to me…
Yeah, there are a few of them around here.
Let me have a look at that map. Hugh? Aah, you mean Hwy, as in Highway…
Yep, it was really that bad.
But, because I want to go home tonight and see my friends, and haven’t spent as much time on the computer, there are still no new photos (apart from the one at the bottom of the page). I have got them all scanned and prepared though, and can spend the time next week writing the words.
It will be therapeutic, once I am ‘alone’ again.
I have updated the competition page with the entries that I received before the closing date – so have a look at the creative talents of some of my friends…
And now, you can be notified whenever this page changes – and if this page changes, usually something on the site will have changed too. No longer will you have to receive those dastardly group emails that I send out! I will move this button onto the Links page from next week.
This weekend is Grand Prix weekend in Melbourne, so watch on Sunday to see the kind of gorgeous weather that we are having in Melbourne – and remember, I literally live across the road from the track. Mmmmm.
And tonight, we go to see ‘The Beach’, which I can let you all know about next week – will it live up to the book..?
