Tiresome

2 minute read

Phew, today is gonna be difficult…

So, it’s 5:30, and I have a splitting headache, and I know that I have to do this, otherwise I will feel really guilty and I know that all of you avid readers will go nuts if I don’t update it…

Just don’t expect anything special.

You know, I thought that time might slow down now that everybody has basically gone – but two weeks has gone, and I am not sure what I have done in all that time. I was chatting to George today, and I said: “You got to Perth early, I thought it was a nine day trip.” “But it has been nine days,” was the reply.

Do you think it has anything to do with getting older?

There aren’t any new photo pages on this week, although I have scanned some more in, and yes, there will be a couple more in the ‘Ugly Mugs’ page after seeing the results of my latest roll of film. Beware!

Talking of Ugly Mugs, I must apologise to Cindy and Sally – Cindy especially, as she was the one that complained – for not thanking them on this page for my birthday card last week. It was a lovely surprise, and the first one that I opened (because I didn’t know who it was from!).

I restart my get fit campaign this weekend, which kind of fell apart whilst everyone was around, and I go on a hunt for the Queen, assuming she is still here in Victoria.

For fans of Gary Coleman (you know, that little guy from Different Strokes), I found this page, after seeing him cameo on the Simpsons last night. Now you can find out what really happens to those sitcom stars from the early Eighties.

Watchu’ talkin’ ‘bout, James?

But I am having a real mental block tonight, and I really can’t think of anything to write about – I just want to go home…

geeky news…

My pages have now all been updated so that they look the same in Explorer and Netscape. Woohoo! Apologies to those who were viewing in Netscape, because the pages looked really poor – lots of blue, ugly borders everywhere. Now the clean, white-spaced design is viewable by all! I also put in the nicer background, just the attention to detail that you have come to expect from me, eh?

And, in geek note 2, all the pages have been rejigged so that they are all valid html, which should help when all the new browsers come out, and gives me designer ‘brownie points’. Standards for all!

And for any fans of the A-Team, I recommend looking at this page with the Mr. T Filter on, if you are bored one day.
